Steve's Blog
I try to use this blog to record something about my life everyday.
About Me
On December 31, 2007 I left my job with Sprint/Embarq where I worked as a Software Engineer for 15 years at the Sprint Campus in Kansas City. In January 2008 Mary and I started Steve Brown Ministries and started traveling the United States broadcasting "Live Video" of Revivals, Bible Conferences, Mission Conferences, and other Special Services. Mary and I enjoy serving the Lord Jesus Christ and traveling to churches as we minister through SteveBrownMinistries.com. We are very pleased that our ministry is endorsed and we are sent out of our home church at Heritage Baptist Temple in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The past three nights of very little sleep has really taken a toll on me. Mary feels bad from her spider bite so we stayed home today. The itching from her bite is much better because it does not itch so much today. The itching has really been bad for the past couple days.

Ball Family Reuion
I got to sleep about 4:00 a.m. this morning. Mary had me up about 7:30 a.m. She is excited about the reuion today. We went over to Scott and Lacy's for brunch with Robby, Rachael, Sophie, and Mady. This afternoon we had a great time with all the Ball's and their family's. I think they counted 75 folks that attended the event. Corky's BBQ catered the meal. It was great.
After the reunion we headed to the Emergency Room to have Mary's Spider Bite checked. It only took about 6 hours. We got home about 1:30 or 2:00 a.m. This is 3 nights in a row of no sleep. Mary said I went to sleep in the waiting room at the hospital for a little while. The doctor gave her an antibiodic and some cream to put on her spider bite. The doctor seemed to think it would be fine.

The Spider Bite
I got to bed about 2:00 a.m. this morning and finally got to sleep about 3:00 a.m. Mary was anxious to get to Little Rock so she had me up way too soon this morning. She has too bite places by her left eye that look like a spider bite. Her eye is swelled nearly shut so her vision is blurred. She made me drive the entire trip home to Little Rock today. We got home about 3:00 a.m. and maybe got to sleep about 4:00 a.m. This lack of sleep is really catching up with me.

Our 44th Wedding Annivarsary
We spent our 44th Wedding Annivarsary hard at work. This was the last night of the Founder's Week Revival at People's Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. They had a pot luck after church. We were eating supper about 10:00 p.m. Then some of the men from the men's home helped me pack and load. I got to our room about 2:00 a.m. and finally got to sleep about 3:30 a.m.

Mid-night Snack
We went over to the Guest House here on the farm of People's Baptist Church and had a late night snack with our friends from Massachusetts, August and Patty Rosada with "Today In Bible Prophecy Ministries". They drove down for the 27th Founders Week Revival. We have enjoyed their company at many meetings since we first met them a year ago.

Happiness Hill Girls
The Happiness Hill Girls from Union, Mississippi showed up at the meeting tonight at People's Baptist Church here in Corpus Christi, Texas. I think they were the best I have heard from them in a while. It was a wonderful blessing to hear them sing and testify about what God has done in their lives. I thoroughly enjoyed their part of the service tonight.
