Lots Of Snow

It started snowing pretty hard about 2:00 p.m. and snowed all evening. I would like to post a few snow pictures but my camera is in Little Rock with Mary.

Working With The New Church Wiki Site

I spent a lot of time this evening dreaming up ways to use the new CHBC Wiki site. I got Bonnie at church to type in her first event and Lee to put in his first devotional. I think we're off and running with our Wiki.

It is sleeting this evening. I went home early from work. Before dark the ice is forming on the trees.

CHBC Wiki

Today in a mangers meeting I learned about Wiki Sites. It is pronounced, "Weekie" or "Wickie". I seem to like Weekie and it seems to be more common.

I learned that we had the software available for the church website so I installed it this evening on the Crystal Hill Baptist Church website. I have a lot of ideas on using it. We'll have to see how it goes.

Bible Reading

I spent extra time reading my Bible tonight. The Lord really knows how to speak to the heart. I enjoyed my time with Him tonight.

Knees Knocking

I have not been before a church in many years and I was shaking like a leaf this morning when I made the announcement about our new church website and singing with Mary. I think the Lord used it inspite of me messing up.

Playing With The Church P.A. System

We went over to the church with Lee this afternoon and practiced on "Sweet, Sweet Spirit" that Mary and I are going to sing in the morning. I think I'm scared to death. I have not done anything like this in many years.

We learned a lot about the P.A. System. We also learned a lot about SundayPlus. A program the church uses to present things on the big overhead screen. It seems to be a very nice program. Lee and I ripped a copy so we could learn more about it at home.

Thankgiving With The Family

This morning I fileted our 20# turkey and seasoned it good with Cavenders Greek Seasoning and garlic power.

This afternoon I spent a couple hours with our pastor, Bro. Larry Ballard, covering most every aspect of our new church website. We are now ready to turn it loose and announce it to the people. He is going to let me introduce it before the church in both Sunday morning services this coming Sunday.

I put the turkey on the smoker about 3:00 p.m. and took it off about 6:00 p.m. We had Lee, Angela, Scott, Larua, Bradley, Preston, Drew, and Ashley over for a big thankgiving feast. WOW! What a feast it was. Mary did not feed me all day so I was really hungry.

We sat around talking about old times and before we knew it, it was after midnight.

Thanksgiving In Arkansas

Since we are having our family come to our house tomorrow it is only Mary and I today. I am very thankful to be able to be at home in Arkansas with Mary today. We had a good time sitting around computing and listening to Rejoice Radio on the internet with our new Sprint Datacard. Well it still new to us even if we have had it a month or so.

Audio Bridge - Latest New Gadget

I received my newest gadget from http://geeks.com this afternoon. We spend a lot of our day listening to Rejoice Radio from the internet on our laptop. With this new gadget we can play anything(Midi's, MP3's, Internet Radio, etc.) from the laptop through the Home Theater without any wires attached. We are really enjoying it.

God's Simple Plan Of Salvation

I spent most of the evening adding a new page to the church website for God's Simple Plan Of Salvation. If you have any doubt whatever that you are going to heaven when you die I admonish you to check out this page. There is absolutely nothing in this life more important than this decision.

Nice Day To Work From Home

What a nice week to work from home. I am very thankful that the boss allowed me to work from home in Little Rock this week. Of course I only have to work three days this week. I'm off Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.

Great Sermons Today

It seems like Bro. Larry always has something for just me in the sermon. Bro. Larry's sermon is usually about 20 minutes of spirit filled preaching. Anyone who will listen will be blessed. Awana - Work Day

Today was the day for the Awana kids from church to go rack leaves for some of the elderly in the community. Mine and Mary's job was to feed them at noon. We ordered 10 large pizzas and delivered them to the church. The kids were starving. It seemed like they all enjoyed their day.

Back To Arkansas

We spent the afternoon traveling back to our home in Little Rock. We had left over beef stew from last weekend and enjoyed Rejoice Radio for most of the evening.

Discovered A New Midi Site

I was searching for some music on google and discovered Heavenly Midis. We must have spent the next 2 hours or more just listening to the beautiful music on our sound system.

First Family Church Service

We attended the live service at First Family Church tonight via the internet. They had a very interesting interview with a former terrorist. We really enjoyed the preaching.

Dinner At The Cheese Factory

We had our thanksgiving dinner with Rob and Rachael tonight at the Cheese Factory. It was a fantastic meal and we really enjoyed Rob and Rachael's company. We're going to really miss them if we ever get to move to Little Rock.

Mary's First Recording Session

We spent a great deal of out evening recording Mary singing with her sound tracks. I was using Audacity to make the recordings. I will wait untill I get back to Kansas City in a couple weeks to process the sound tracks and do the final mix.

Time To Go Back To Kansas City Already

Seems like I just got to Little Rock and it's time to go back to Kansas City already. We had a great time at Crystal Hill Baptist Church this morning before leaving town.

We enjoyed a nice dinner hour with Brian and Carlin when we go gack to town.

Ball Get Together

We enjoyed a very nice time at Barbara & Carol Ball's home this afternoon. Most of Mary's brothers were there. The food was outstanding.

Hooked Up The Home Theater

I spent the evening running wires through the basement for our home theater. We enjoyed a DVD with Preston, Drew, Angela and Lee. It still sounds pretty good for a system that's been through 3 moves and is 7 or 8 years old.

Here I Am On My Way To Arkansas Again

I decided to drive into Little Rock after work this evening. It was going on 11:00 p.m. when I arrived. I enjoyed some of the CD's I burned from allquartetsradio.com.

Stuck In A Rut

I seem to be stuck in a rut. Tonight after listening to ffc.org's live streaming video I went to work on Mary's sound tracks again. I think I got 5 or 6 more converted from cassette tape to MP3's and put on our FTP server for her to download.

Rejoice Radio

I spent the first half of my evening listening to Rejoice Radio on the internet. Then I decided I better get back to Mary's project of ripping her sound tracks to MP3 files from cassette tape. I think I got 5 more completed and put on my ftp site for her to download.

Crystal Hill Website

I spent a lot of my evening scanning in pictures from the church directory for Crystal Hill. I then posted them to the picture gallery on our Crystal Hill Baptist Church Website. They are not the best quality but it's all I have to work with right now.

Streaming Preaching

I started listening to First Family Church about 8:30 a.m. this morning. That did not get over until about 11:00 a.m. I listened to all three services back to back. Then I started listening to John Hagee. I think that was the best. That lasted until about 1:00 p.m. Then I tuned into Rejoice Radio. Before I knew it it was time for the 6:30 p.m. John Hagee service. They had an hour and a half of the Tally Family. That was great. Enjoyed my day.

A Whole Day At Home

I slept until I woke up this morning. That was about 8:30 a.m. if I remember correctly. I spent the day playing with the new sound system. Playing music and making CD's of Mary's sound tracks.

New Nady Speakers

I finally got my two new Nady PS112 speakers. They don't sound as good as the Peavy SP1's I bought a few years ago for the church in North Little Rock but for $200 compared to $1200 I paid for the SP1's I think they sound pretty good and it don't take a fork-lift to pick them up.

Trying To Decide Wheter To Go To Little Rock

While working on Mary music tapes I am trying to make up my mind wheter or not I should go to Little Rock tomorrow. It seems like I meet myself coming and going. When I approach the Interstate Hwy I have to be careful to make sure I go the right direction. I forget if I'm going or coming. I think I may stay here another weekend.

Lots Of Internet Preaching Tonight

When I got home this evening I started listing to John Hagee on the internet. After that it was time for the live streaming video from ffc.org. I did get around to making a couple more CD's for Mary tonight from her sound tracks.
