Steve's Blog

I try to use this blog to record something about my life everyday.

My Photo
Name: Steve Brown
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States

On December 31, 2007 I left my job with Sprint/Embarq where I worked as a Software Engineer for 15 years at the Sprint Campus in Kansas City. In January 2008 Mary and I started Steve Brown Ministries and started traveling the United States broadcasting "Live Video" of Revivals, Bible Conferences, Mission Conferences, and other Special Services. Mary and I enjoy serving the Lord Jesus Christ and traveling to churches as we minister through SteveBrownMinistries.com. We are very pleased that our ministry is endorsed and we are sent out of our home church at Heritage Baptist Temple in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Geocaching in Leon, Iowa

We found our first cache in St. Joseph, Missouri. One of the unusual caches we found today was the original NW corner of Missouri as established in 1816. A huge steel marker was placed at this location in 1850 and is still there today. The corner was later moved on the same Latitude westward to the Missouri River.

We ended the day in Leon, Iowa at the Little River Motel. The room cost $35.14. We went to the local café for supper and then went out to find 2 local caches after 8:00 p.m. in the dark. Nothing like a little night caching to get the blood flowing.

Today's Stats:
15 Geocaches.
6314 Steps Today – 2.98 miles.
0 Aerobic Steps.
279 Calories Burned.
