Steve's Blog

I try to use this blog to record something about my life everyday.

Name: Steve Brown
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States

On December 31, 2007 I left my job with Sprint/Embarq where I worked as a Software Engineer for 15 years at the Sprint Campus in Kansas City. In January 2008 Mary and I started Steve Brown Ministries and started traveling the United States broadcasting "Live Video" of Revivals, Bible Conferences, Mission Conferences, and other Special Services. Mary and I enjoy serving the Lord Jesus Christ and traveling to churches as we minister through SteveBrownMinistries.com. We are very pleased that our ministry is endorsed and we are sent out of our home church at Heritage Baptist Temple in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Completed the Quest for the Holy Grail

We have put off doing this cache since May of 2002. We finally got our courage up and tackled it. It was not nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be and it was a lot of fun. There is one exception. After finding the cache I decided to take a short cut back to the road. BIG MISTAKE! I went down the mountain and got turned around and could not find my way through this awful stuff across the river to the road or railroad track. My GPS map showed that they are just right there, but I could not get there. Way after dark I had to back track and climb back up the mountain and go back the same mile that I came in. I was so pooped when I got back to the van about 8:30 p.m.

2 geocaches found today.
New pedometer, I don't know how to use it yet.

Next time you decide to go walking through the woods in the dark, put a few emergency flares in your fanny pack. That way the rescue helecopter can find you easier when hovering above you. I don't know if they can see your pin light from a few hundred feet above the ground. I'm glad you enjoy your hobby so well. I know I enjoy hearing your account of the previous night's adventure every morning.

Keep up the hard work.
