Our Ferry At Sundown

We started our day at the Days Inn in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina where I walked about 3 miles on the beach.

We spent about an hour at the Wright Brothers National Memorial where we watched a 40 minute video about their first flight. It was well worth our time.

We made our way on down the Outer Bank to Ocracoke Island where we boarded a ferry back to the mainland. The ferry ride was about 2 hours and 15 minutes. We met some great folks from Toronto, Canada and Gail, who is making her way from Maryland to California on a BMW bike. We thoroughly enjoyed talking to these folks.

We ended our day in Morehead City, North Carolina eating Mexican Food. It has been a great day.
