Steve's Blog

I try to use this blog to record something about my life everyday.

Name: Steve Brown
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States

On December 31, 2007 I left my job with Sprint/Embarq where I worked as a Software Engineer for 15 years at the Sprint Campus in Kansas City. In January 2008 Mary and I started Steve Brown Ministries and started traveling the United States broadcasting "Live Video" of Revivals, Bible Conferences, Mission Conferences, and other Special Services. Mary and I enjoy serving the Lord Jesus Christ and traveling to churches as we minister through SteveBrownMinistries.com. We are very pleased that our ministry is endorsed and we are sent out of our home church at Heritage Baptist Temple in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Caching in Wichita

This morning we woke up in Wichita, Kansas. We started early when there was still frost on the new grass. Brian and I located the 5 event caches for the Wichita Event by about 9:30 a.m. and started hunting other caches that we both had not found previously. At noon we attended the Wichita Event. We had a great time and met and lot of cachers from all over Kansas. After the event we went to the “Sitting On A Spider” cache. Brian had not done this one before. Mary and I had done it back in March 2002 when it first came out. We ended up with 16 people from the event out there. Some of us went across the Kansas Turnpike Bridge instead of wading the river to the cache. After a trooper watched us for a while retrieving the cache, we all decided to wade the river back across. We had a lot of fun caching with some of the folks that attended the event the rest of the day. We ended up caching with them up until about 11:00 p.m. tonight. We had a great day caching in Wichita.

Today's Stats:
