Possum Trot VIII - Camp Naish
This morning we got up at 5:30 a.m. and started loading our stuff to serve as registrar for the Possum Trot VIII near Bonner Springs, Kansas.
There were folks from all over the United States that participated in the event. The event was a 15 kilometer run in some pretty rugged Kansas hill country. The winner did the whole 15k run in 1 hour and 27 minutes. In my eyes that is simple amazing. Most folks took several hours. It would have taken me many hours to complete the course. I can not image a human being doing that, in that time. It started raining not long after the event started and the runners ran most of the course in a cold winter rain.
