New Cingular Data Card

Knowing that I have to give the Sprint PCS Data Card back to Robby, we went to Cingular and picked up a Sony Ericsson GC82 EDGE(Enhanced Data GSM Environment) Data Card for the laptop. Since the card had a rebate it was FREE and the saleman said he would take care of the rebate. I didn't have to pay anything for the card nor wait to get my rebate back. I like FREE. The service is suppose to be about twice as fast as the Sprint PCS card I've been using for the past month. This is only where the new EDGE service is available. The new EDGE service will be added to cell sites soon. Where EDGE service is not available it will use the normal GPRS service which is much slower. We'll give it a good workout this long weekend making a trip to Oklahoma City to do some serious geocaching.
